DKI Logistics’ original employee celebrates 20 years at the company

On 1 April, Kent Mau celebrated his 20 years’ work anniversary at warehouse and logistics company DKI Logistics, which is located at Horsens, Køge and Herning.

Kent Mau was the company’s very first employee.

He and founder Preben Borregaard knew each other from DSV where both men were employed. Preben Borregaard was a Junior Director at DSV, while Kent Mau was a supervisor who led a team of warehouse employees.

Kent Mau’s first title at DKI Logistics was warehouse manager. Over the years, he has seen the company grow from the handful of employees that started work here together to today’s 250-strong workforce. There is no corner of the company that Kent Mau has not had a finger in.

He is now DKI’s Production Manager. Among other tasks, he handles all materials, all the buildings and all maintenance. DKI Logistics has 250,000 m2 under roof and 500,000 m2 outdoors. Kent Mau also helps to optimise the company’s processes and ensure that each business area develops in the best possible way. Furthermore, he helps calculate customer quotations.
