A fleet of new three-axle MAN trucks is set to transport everything from plasters and knee prostheses to PPE to the hospitals in Central Denmark Region at night, and general cargo to all parts of Denmark in the daytime.
The new trucks recently arrived at DKI and were at once sent out onto the road.
The trucks are all destined to run 24 hours a day, seven days a week – and our drivers have been looking forward to driving the new vehicles. DKI Logistics’ fleet already includes the same model of MAN truck. This most recent upgrade allows us to track and monitor our drivers’ driving patterns and diesel consumption. The aim is to achieve more economical operations and, more important still, a smaller carbon footprint.
